Opera

The specific configuration for the Oracle Opera PMS Authentication module relies on the following sets of options.

Open

• Arrival Time is the system-wide setting for reservations arrival time as Oracle does not provide this on a per-reservation basis

• Departure Time is the system-wide setting for reservations departure time as Oracle does not provide this on a per-reservation basis

• Article for Charge specifies the selection of the article to apply charges against when charging to the guest reservation

• Cashier for Charge specifies the selection of the Cashier to apply charges against when charging to the guest reservation

• Currency Code specifies the Currency Code which we apply charges for within Opera for guests

• VIP Type selectable between “Bonus Field” or “2-option purchase” to determine if a guest should be applied to the VIP level of access within the lower section of the configuration.

  • Bonus Field Column selects the Bonus Field to match on

  • Bonus Field Values specifies the value of the column to match on

  • 2-option Daily Paid Price determines the price charged under “2-option purchase” via the guest logon screen

• Early Arrivals allows the internet access to be enabled earlier than the Checkin Time on the booking and allows access without the guest being required to be checked in at all.
