Guest Status Page

Every guest has the ability to view the information about their current access voucher to determine device and data usage. There are several ways a guest can get to this, however the easiest by far is to connect to mywifiaccount.com and they will be redirected to the appropriate place.

Information on this page will provide them the specific Start and Stop times for their access voucher as well as any data or device limitations.

In addition to this there is an itemised list of all devices that have been associated with the voucher and includes a display of the total data usage. If a device has been deactivated by staff (via the Voucher Usage page), the device will show with the strike-through applied to the text on that line.

If a guest has spare devices available on their voucher, they will also be presented with the option to add additional devices to the voucher. This is particularly helpful for things like Game Consoles and TV Streaming sticks which often are have no web browser within the device. The guest must however determine the WiFi MAC Address for their device as they will need to enter this in the box provided.

The guest must first connect their device to the WiFi, then use another device on the Status Page to add the first devices MAC when doing this. The reason for this is to ensure the MAC address the guest is entering is indeed what the system is seeing it as, otherwise a guest could fill their device count with bogus devices and thus cause even more problems. The system can see devices not authenticated via the Unauthenticated Devices list in the Admin Portal, this is the list used to validate the MAC Address entered by the guest.
