Advanced Diagnostics

For managers or our resellers, who have more advanced knowledge of the IT Systems between our platform routers and their guests, we provide a number of additional diagnostic outputs from our routers to assist in troubleshooting. These items are directly related to functions on the 4WiFi managed router and services guests would be connecting to, so the menu item for this is contained within the Guest Internet menu.

This page contains a list of available functions, the contents of this list may vary depending on the services you have configured with us. Full permission is also required to access these functions, if you do not have Full or greater permission level, please speak to your site owner or reseller.

Some common functions you may be interested are explained here, but note this is not an exhaustive list as we may add more functions without providing documentation for them. These functions are intended for IT professionals who have a good understanding of what the functions would do without needing further explanation.

DHCP Leases provides a list of currently allocated IP Addresses from your Hotspot IP Pool (pool size can be seen on the General Settings page at the top.

Ping allows an arbitrary IP Address to be pinged by the router. Count is allowed from 3 to 10 only.
