Permanent Access

When the need arises to have a device always be authenticated to your Guest WiFi network, you may wish to use the Permanent Access module. If this module is not enabled, submit a support request and we can enable it for you.

Limitations of this module are that all devices added to it will be issued a common bandwidth cap (which must be configured by 4WiFi directly or a your resale partner if you have one).

The Access menu is where you will find where to control this module.

The interface is quite simple with only the ability to add devices by MAC Address and specify an identifier. The identifier is there simply so you can identify a device in the future should you need to remove it from the access list.

Removing entries is as easy as clicking the “delete” button on the row you wish to remove.
