Site Bypass

Some sites prefer to not show a captive portal to their guests at all, but instead provide open and unlimited access. It is still very important to provide some bandwidth management and be able to understand the usage for which your guests consume on your network, so the Site Bypass module was created to cater for this scenario.

If enabled, access to the configuration for Site Bypass is available within the Access menu:

There are limited configuration options at this point as you are no longer able to provide data limits. You only have the ability to turn the feature on/off or set per-device bandwidth limitations.

As with the other modules, you can use either the Upload & Download fields, or you can use the Custom Queues field. If you would like to use Custom Queues, please read and make sure you understand the method to create these as getting them wrong will result in no limits being applied.
