Setting up Rooms and Limits
Due to it being entirely possible (and quite likely) that the labels you have on your Rooms within the Cloudbeds platform do not match 100% to what your guests know them as, the 4WiFi platform provides a translation table which is used to map what a guest believes a room is so that when they attempt to log onto the WiFi the system will be able to match them successfully.
The screen is located within the Cloudbeds menu and is called “Area Config”. The management page looks like this:
The “Guest AreaName” is the field used to specify the label/number the guest believes they are staying in.
Other fields available here are “Daily Data (Mb)” and “Devices”. These provide limits for both the amount of data to be allocated to a reservation (usually multiplied by the number of days they are staying with you) and the maximum count of different devices you wish to allow the reservation to use under the overall data limit.
Setting “Daily Data (Mb)” to “0” (zero) will provide Unlimited data to the reservation in that room.
NOTE: There is no “save” button on this page, changes are saved as you fill in each box automatically for you.
